·A legend is an area on a browse that displays an explanation of the icons found within that browse.
·The legend is usually located at the bottom portion of the browse and in some cases has a designated tab.
·The nature of the icons being displayed is determined by the browse being viewed.
This is an example of a legend in the client browse.
